During times of distress, I often turn to music and find one song I can obsess over, repeat on loop. I’ve collected many such songs over many experiences, from weathering busy seasons at work, to processing overwhelming grief.

This time, my brain grabbed onto “Ramen” by Johnny Stimson, Tim Atlas, and Jesse Barrera. Combined with my existing love and nostalgia for ramen, and not having time or skill to cook, I ended up eating more ramen at home while listening to this song. This site is an ode to how obsessions can seep into your life, dreaming of home-making, and simple comforts.
